FOX rejected it; WB took it because they needed a teen show.

And Felicity, I enjoyed the first season... I had just graduated
college, and watching the show was sort-of like nostalgia.

I was explaining to Mom who was what and such and realized I know WAY
too much about a show I've never managed to sit through an entire
episode of.

Probably the theme song. That ain't on the DVDs.

It's on every episode of the the s1 and 2 sets. It wasn't until s3
that Sony got cheap and refused to pay for the rights to the theme
song, subbing in the international theme song.

quite topless in "The Gift".

Wow, and here I thought "Felicity" was practically a classic of the genre, a
lot more than a pretty face. I hadn't seen it since it ended its run, but
last night's struck all the right notes for me, and it was clear that JJ was
going places. If it was airing this fall on CW, I'd watch it again, though
I'd not be looking forward to the hair-cutting episode.

Maybe it got better? I never watched it (I watched on towards the end
'cause it had the LOVELINE guys on it and had no idea what was going on
with the regular cast). Just saying that this pilot wouldn't get me to
watch the next ep.
